2011 Fire Corps Regional Conference - Call for Presentations

Thursday, 07 April 2011

Proposals due by April 22

Fire Corps is hosting a Regional Conference in Arlington, TX on July 29, which will feature a variety of educational workshops. We would like to give you the opportunity to present a workshop on a topic of your interest to help others fully benefit from the Fire Corps program.

The Regional Conference provides an opportunity for Fire Corps volunteers, Fire Corps program managers/coordinators, Fire Corps State/Regional Advocates, and Citizen Corps Council representatives to share ideas and best practices, network, participate in training, and learn valuable information to help departments and agencies enhance their Fire Corps programs. Therefore, presentation subject matter should relate to local Fire Corps program needs (i.e. outreach and awareness, retention and recruitment, volunteer management, Fire Corps volunteer training, etc.). Each workshop will be 60 minutes.

To submit your speaker proposal, fill out the form at https://nvfc.wufoo.com/forms/fire-corps-regional-conference-speaker-proposal/. Proposals are due by April 22, 2011. Fire Corps will review all presentation proposals. Selections will be made based on quality, relevance, focus, practical application, and the presenter’s experience and credentials.
