Help Fire Corps raise awareness about the challenges facing volunteer, career, and combination fire/EMS departments and the opportunities available for non-emergency volunteers. Fire Corps seeks sponsors to help disseminate materials and partners for print, TV, radio, and outdoor advertising to spread the word about Fire Corps and publicize 1-800-FIRE-LINE, a national toll-free hotline to help recruit volunteers for both emergency and non-emergency roles at local fire/EMSdepartments.

 

This annual awarded honors a Fire Corps program whose remarkable achievements in the fire and emergency services and the community exemplify outstanding performance.

 

Fire Corps Training Workshops educate fire and emergency service departments about creating, maintaining, and enhancing a Fire Corps program that effectively reaches out to the community, increases citizen involvement, and increases the capacity of the department.
