1-800-FIRE-LINE

1-800-FIRE-LINE is a national campaign to help retain and recruit both emergency and non-emergency volunteers in the fire and emergency medical services. Departments can use the 1-800-FIRE-LINE campaign and resources to help recruit members for a local Fire Corps program. Learn more.

Material, Logo, and Profile Request Forms

  Fill out the Material Request Form to obtain Fire Corps materials for your upcoming event.

  If you are interested in using the Fire Corps logo for any reason, please print and fill out the application and fax or mail to the Fire Corps headquarters.

  Complete and submit this form if you would like to spotlight your Fire Corps program or an individual Fire Corps member.

  Departments and Fire Corps members can use this video to reach out to community members to encourage and motivate them to become involved in a local Fire Corps program.

Public Service Announcements

Link to these PSAs from your department's web site or contact your local radio or television and cable stations to air the PSAs. Unlike advertisements, many local radio and television stations and cable networks will donate the air time for showing PSAs, reducing or eliminating the cost to your department. You can use the PSAs as is or you can customize them to include your department’s name and contact information.

• Video Public Service Announcements (PSAs)
  Fire Corps has developed two 30-second video PSAs that you can use to promote your local Fire Corps program. Use these PSAs to target potential citizen advocates within your community and garner support for your Fire Corps program through your local television and cable stations. Unlike advertisements, many local stations and cable networks will donate the air time for showing PSAs, reducing or eliminating the cost to your department. You can use the PSAs as is or you can customize them to include your department's name and contact information. Some local stations may be willing to donate the time it takes to do this, or you can contact Nicole Kopec, Production Executive for Triptych Creative Group, at 972-309-4354 or Nicole.Kopec@TriptychCreative.com to customize the PSA for a nominal fee.

  NBC newscaster Brian Williams recorded this video public service announcement you can use in your community to target potential Fire Corps volunteers and garner support for your local Fire Corps program.   This 30-second video PSA, created in partnership with Comcast, features Michigan Fire Corps State Advocate Sgt. Dwayne Thompson of the Macomb Township Fire Department. It introduces viewers to Fire Corps and informs them how to learn more.

  This video PSA, created in partnership with Comcast, features Dr. David McFadden of the Macomb (MI) Township Fire Department and imparts the public safety message of the importance of wearing a seatbelt.

  Firefighter and former NFL player Erron Kinney recorded this radio PSA alerting the public to the 1-800-FIRE-LINE number that anyone can call from anywhere in the country to learn about volunteer emergency and non-emergency opportunities available near them.

• Citizen Brochure
  Need Fire Corps brochures for your organization, department, or group event? Now you can order them online through the U.S. Fire Administration's online catalog. This free three-panel brochure explains the Fire Corps program and outlines how citizens can help their local fire/EMS department by fulfilling non-operational roles. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. For quantities of over 100 brochures, call the USFA Publication Center at 800-561-3356 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST/EDT. View a PDF of the brochure.
  
• Citizen Brochure - Spanish

Fire Corps has released a Spanish-language version of the Citizen Brochure. This brochure explains the Fire Corps program and outlines how community members can help their local fire/EMS departments by fulfilling non-emergency roles. • Department Brochure
  This brochure is specifically designed for education fire/EMS departments and other civic organizations in your area about Fire Corps. A detachable response card enables interested parties to register their own Fire Corps program, as well as to request more specific information from the Fire Corps national office.
